2023-2024 Food Program Reimbursement Rates Announced

The 2023-2024 Child and Adult Food Program reimbursement rates for family child care providers have been released. These rates will be in effect from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.

What’s New This Year

The Keep Kids Fed Act (KKFA) expired on June 30, 2023. This law, which was was enacted during the Covid-19 pandemic, added a temporary additional reimbursement in the amount of 10 cents for each meal and supplement and allowed Tier II Family Care Homes to receive reimbursements at Tier I rates. Now that the law has expired, Tier II family care homes will return to Tier II reimbursement rates.
